Job summary

Leigh and Co. is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator based in Maryland to provide onsite wedding planning services. This contract role offers a flexible schedule with an estimated pay range of $275-$300 for 10-12 hours per project. Ideal candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience in wedding or event planning, strong communication skills, and be detail oriented. Responsibilities include leading ceremony rehearsals, managing event setups, and ensuring a smooth guest experience during weddings.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design.
• Manage full wedding day execution from initial vendor arrival to final breakdown.
