Job summary

Wipro Limited in Irving, TX, is seeking an experienced WebSphere Administrator (Lead) to guide middleware design and deployment across complex WAS environments. The role demands deep expertise in WebSphere App Server, LDAP, and MQ/TIBCO integration.

You will lead migrations and infrastructure provisioning, ensuring secure and scalable middleware stacks. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of WAS experience, strong leadership, and hands-on execution skills.

Qualifications

• Experience leading middleware design and deployment for WebSphere environments.
• Expertise in configuring LDAP, security domains and JMS providers.
• Hands-on with WAS migrations and server provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects around complex Middleware environments (WAS, IHS, Apache).
• Configure, build and deploy infrastructure to support business solutions.
• Migrate WAS ND versions (7.X to 8.0/8.5/9.x) across environments.
• Create JMS providers, queues, and activation specs for MQ/TIBCO integration.
• Install and upgrade WAS instances with fix packs and security updates.
• Set up and configure Web servers (IHS, Apache).
• Manage plugin configurations including secure/non-secure setups.
