Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Lead Web Technologies Developer to guide digital platforms and e-commerce tech strategy. You will collaborate with Digital, Direct-To-Consumer, and ERP teams to deliver scalable, secure web solutions across enterprise platforms.

You will lead agile ceremonies, mentor developers, and ensure alignment with business goals while staying current with brand and commerce advancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of web development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Next.js, React, Angular, and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD development.
• Experience with consumer-facing website implementations.
• Experience with Commerce Platforms: Shopify, Commercetools.
• Experience with CMS: Bloomreach CMS, Sitecore, WordPress, Embraco.
• Experience with APIs: Web Services, Web API.
• Experience with CDNs: Akamai, Cloudflare.
• Experience with PIM & DAM: Widen, Salsify, Stibo.
• Release Management: JIRA, Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of design patterns, UX/UI, architecture and data modelling.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development testing.
• Agile methodology: Scrum/Kanban/XP.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy laws.
• Experience with enterprise platforms and open-source technologies.
• Strong documentation, communication, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to development teams in tools and technologies.
• Assist team manager with planning, forecasting, and monitoring work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time.
• Collaborate with Digital and DTC teams to align tech with business goals.
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
• Stay updated on brand and commerce advancements for architecture improvements.
• Inspire and lead developers in a collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with IT and business to identify top initiatives.
• Lead agile ceremonies; may act as project leader.
• May supervise other team members.
