Job summary

Mittera Group is seeking an experienced Web First Press Operator to join our team. The role leads the press crew, oversees operation of web press machines, and ensures productivity, quality, and safety goals are met.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of multicolor web press experience, strong leadership, and solid understanding of press setup and maintenance. This position offers competitive compensation and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator preferred.
• Ability to lead and foster growth and development on the team.
• Knowledgeable of press set-up and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment.
• Guide crew to meet and exceed production standards.
• Responsible for the ongoing training and development of team.
• Promote, enforce and sustain safety and look for ways to improve operation.
• Assist Supervisors in providing feedback for employee evaluations.
• Facilitate teamwork on crews and between shifts.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
