Allied Printing Services is seeking a Lead Pressman-Web to manage setup, operation, and maintenance of multi-color web offset presses. You will lead a press team, ensure production schedules are met, and maintain superior print quality while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating commercial web offset printing presses.
• Leadership or lead pressman experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of web offset processes, color management, registration, and quality control.
• Ability to diagnose print defects and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Experience with heatset and/or coldset web presses.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and oversee production on multi-unit web offset presses.
• Review schedules and tickets to ensure proper materials and specs.
• Perform press make-readies, minimize downtime and waste.
• Monitor registration, color balance, and overall print quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues to maximize uptime.
• Lead and mentor Second Pressmen and press assistants.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Prepress, Maintenance, and Quality.
• Complete production reports and quality documentation.
