Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech is seeking an experienced Web First Press Operator to join our team. This leadership role guides the press crew to meet safety, quality and production goals while operating web press machines and maintaining ancillary equipment.

We value ideas, provide training opportunities and a collaborative environment. Qualified candidates bring 3–5+ years on multicolor web presses, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence on every job.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator.
• Ability to lead and foster growth on the team.
• Knowledge of press setup and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communication with all levels within the organization.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and safety oriented.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment
• Guide crew to meet and exceed production standards
• Responsible for the ongoing training and development of team
• Promote, enforce and sustain safety and seek operation improvements
• Assist Supervisors in providing feedback for employee evaluations
• Facilitate teamwork on crews and between shifts
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
