Job summary

Mittera Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Web First Press Operator to join our team. The role involves operating web press machines, guiding the press crew to meet production standards, and ensuring quality and safety goals are met.

The position requires leadership in directing daily work activities, training team members, and promoting a proactive safety culture within a high-output press environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator.
• Ability to lead and foster growth on the team.
• Knowledgeable of press set-up and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment.
• Guide crew to meet and exceed production standards.
• Responsible for the ongoing training and development of team.
• Promote, enforce and sustain safety and look for ways to improve the operation.
• Assist Supervisors in providing feedback for employee evaluations.
• Facilitate teamwork on crews and between shifts.
• Ensures good housekeeping practices are followed.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
