Job summary

Mittera is seeking an experienced Web First Press Operator to join our team in Reno, NV. This leadership role will help direct the work activities of the press team to ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are met.

You will operate web press machines and oversee essential production workflows. The successful candidate will have 3–5+ years of web press experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to ongoing team development.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years as a multicolor web press operator preferred.
• Ability to lead and foster growth of the team.
• Knowledgeable about press setup and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, quality and safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment.
• Guide crew to meet and exceed production standards.
• Train and develop team members.
• Promote and sustain safety practices; seek improvements in operation.
• Provide feedback for employee evaluations to Supervisors.
• Foster teamwork across shifts and crews.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
