Job summary

zerohash is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance team building an open banking data aggregation platform. You will guide architecture for secure browser automation, agent-based infrastructure, and data extraction, mentoring engineers and shaping the product with a product mindset.

You will collaborate with product and operations leaders, drive technical excellence, and recruit top talent to expand cryptographic data capabilities while ensuring security and scale

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on software engineering, focused on advanced web automation, browser internals, extension development, or data extraction.
• 5+ years engineering management, including senior/staff engineers.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record leading teams delivering production-grade browser automation, extension, or data infra products.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of secure web automation and core automation runtime.
• Manage and grow a team of engineers across browser internals, automation, and data extraction.
• Collaborate with product and program managers to align open banking roadmap with delivery.
• Drive architecture decisions for resilient UI interactions, multi-hop sessions, and secure auth flows.
• Recruit, coach, and develop engineers, and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.
