Zero Hash is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect and build an open banking data aggregation platform, scaling our gateway to Finance 2.0. You will implement a distributed, client-side automation engine using secure, agent-based infrastructure across extensions and WebViews.

The role emphasizes deep browser internals expertise, end-to-end security, and mentoring engineers while navigating complex multi-step authentication and dynamic web data extraction at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience focused on advanced web automation, browser internals, extension development, or complex frontend-to-backend data extraction.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript with DOM manipulation and modern web APIs in strict browser environments.
• Strong backend experience to design centralized WebSocket routing hubs and infrastructure.
• Solid security fundamentals: secure messaging, authentication handshakes, and mitigating DOM-based risks.

Responsabilités

• Architect and build the core automation runtime for resilient UI interactions and data entry.
• Design secure network interception layers to capture and parse financial data streams.
• Develop high-performance protocols linking client-side agents to a centralized backend.
• Navigate multi-step authentication flows (MFA, Passkeys) bridging background automation with user prompts.
• Operate within strict execution boundaries and security sandboxes to ensure safety.
• Build resiliency and scalability across dynamic DOM changes and cross-platform portals.
• Introduce engineering patterns for scale and mentor senior/mid-level engineers.
