Job summary

True Management LLC is seeking an Energy Technician (Journeyman / Lead Tech) to independently perform weatherization installations under supervision. The role includes basic diagnostic testing and installing energy-saving measures in residential homes, such as insulation, caulking, and thermostat upgrades.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in weatherization or related trade such as electrical, plumbing or HVAC.
• BPI certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid driver's license and clean background checks.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform full weatherization installations with Crew Lead supervision.
• Assist in basic diagnostic testing (blower door, combustion safety) and quality checks.
• Install energy-saving measures in residential homes: attic insulation, caulking, lighting, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats, water heaters.
• Conduct water heater repairs and replacement service calls.
• Help with repairs, load/unload work trucks, keep job sites clean and safe, assist with setup and teardown.
• Train and mentor Tier 1 techs on the job.
