Job summary

True Management LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking an Energy Technician (Journeyman / Lead Tech) to independently perform weatherization installations under Crew Lead supervision, including attic insulation, caulking, lighting, and water heater work in residential homes.

The role covers basic diagnostic testing, safety checks, and a path toward BPI certification, with benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a Simple IRA with company match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in weatherization or related trade.
• BPI certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license; clean background checks.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full weatherization installations with Crew Lead supervision.
• Conduct basic diagnostic testing (blower door, combustion safety) and quality checks.
• Install energy-saving measures in homes (insulation, caulking, lighting, fixtures).
• Conduct water heater repairs and replacement service calls.
• Assist with repairs, load/unload trucks, and maintain safe job sites.
• Train and mentor Tier 1 techs on the job.
