Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL seeks a Lead Weapon System Integrator to manage all Systems Engineering and integration for the NGI Ground Weapon System. Responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team, risk management, and ensuring requirements traceability and timely execution.

The role requires a technical degree with senior Systems Engineering experience, and active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience with professional experience and training.
• Development Technical Leadership Experience.
• Experience collaborating and leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Significant experience in at least one Systems Engineering function: Requirements Development, M&S/Performance Analysis, Flight Sciences Analysis, System Test, System Design & Integration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the integration of the NGI AUR into the Ground Weapon System.
• Lead and coordinate with a complex, multidisciplined team of engineers.
• Support the identification, derivation, verification and validation of requirements.
• Identify, maintain, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate and conduct frequent Customer and Senior Leadership briefings.
• Plan and execute the SEIT work scope: proposals, ROMs, staffing, and program execution.
• Ensure activities are completed on schedule with technical rigor.
• Lead the team to perform full Systems Engineering and Integration for a total system design.
• Coordinate across program IPTs and functions.
