Job summary

Alpha Insulation & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead on commercial and industrial construction projects in Charlotte, NC. You will supervise waterproofing crews, ensure proper installations, interpret plans, and drive safety and productivity on site.

The role requires 5+ years in waterproofing with 2+ years in leadership, knowledge of spray-applied fireproofing, and strong communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in waterproofing with 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of spray-applied fireproofing and waterproofing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day waterproofing crews on-site.
• Ensure proper installation of waterproofing systems per specs and codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and shop drawings.
• Manage on-site labor and materials to meet deadlines.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings and enforce policies.
• Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
• Maintain records of work activities, crew hours, materials, and site conditions.
• Train crew members to improve performance and skills.
• Inspect work to ensure high-quality workmanship.
