Harnden Group is seeking a self-motivated full-time Service Technician to join our team in Bedford, VA. You will lead field crews in water/wastewater mechanical equipment repairs, troubleshoot pumps and motors, and oversee installation and start-up of new systems.

The ideal candidate is safety focused, team oriented, and takes initiative. You must have 5+ years of hands-on service experience in the water/wastewater industry and be comfortable working in wastewater environments.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on service in water/wastewater industry.
• Comfort in wastewater environments.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and read schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Safety-focused and initiative-driven.

Aufgaben

• Lead field crews in water/wastewater equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on pumps and motors.
• Perform laser shaft alignment and vibration testing.
• Coordinate work with plant operators and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure OSHA and confined-space safety compliance; maintain reports.
• Operate a company truck with crane and participate in on-call rotation.
• Occasionally perform minor welding or fabrication.
