Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for Blooming Glen Contractors' Water & Wastewater division to service, troubleshoot and start up new systems across Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

You will lead field crews, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on service experience in water/wastewater mechanisms and electrical troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working in wastewater environments and around confined spaces.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a company truck with crane.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; accurate daily logs.
• OSHA 40-hour, Confined Space, CPR/First-Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in repairs and maintenance at pump stations and treatment facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on pumps and related equipment.
• Coordinate with plant operators; provide status updates and mentor junior techs.
• Ensure OSHA and safety protocol compliance; complete service reports.
• Operate company truck in tri-state region and participate in on-call rotations.
