Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a water/wastewater project engineer in Florida to lead civil and environmental design on critical water resources projects. The role involves overseeing design, performing technical tasks, and mentoring staff while helping with proposals and client billing.

Travel up to 25% is expected, and a Florida PE with an ABET degree is required. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant experience and familiarity with GIS, WaterCAD/SewerCAD, and related tools.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• At least four years of relevant experience.
• PE license in Florida with ability to obtain in other states.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/environmental engineer on water and wastewater projects.
• Oversee design and perform technical design tasks.
• Assist with drafting proposals including scope and pricing.
• Assist with reviewing client billings and mentoring staff.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
