Job summary
Mead & Hunt is seeking a water/wastewater project engineer to join our team in a full-time role in Florida. You will serve as the lead civil/environmental engineer on water and wastewater projects, overseeing design and performing technical tasks while mentoring staff and supporting proposals.
The ideal candidate has a civil/environmental engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, 4+ years of experience, and a Florida PE license (or ability to obtain in other states).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
- At least four years of relevant experience.
- PE license in Florida with ability to obtain in additional states.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil/environmental engineer on water and wastewater projects.
- Oversee design and perform technical design tasks.
- Assist with drafting proposals with scope and pricing.
- Assist with reviewing client billings.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to staff.
- Travel up to 25%.
