City of Lewisville is seeking a water/wastewater plant operator to oversee and maintain treatment facilities, monitor SCADA, and lead maintenance crews. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, compliant operation and data-recorded performance.

Required: high school diploma or GED and two years in water/wastewater or related fields; Texas Class B/C certificates preferred. Willingness to work nights and emergencies is expected.

Qualifications

• This role requires basic electricity, pumps, instrumentation, and process control knowledge.
• Familiarity with maintenance software and lab/test procedures is expected.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Leads, operates, and monitors processing equipment and machinery.
• Initiates operation changes based on monitoring and calculations.
• Leads routine maintenance and inspections of buildings, equipment, and pumps.
• Performs other duties related to water/wastewater plant operations.
