Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking a Project Engineer to work with the Purification & Disinfection and ZeeWeed ITR teams on custom project designs, meeting customer expectations, quality, schedule, and budget goals. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, delegate and support junior engineers, and drive technical development across water treatment systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related technical discipline).
• 5+ years in a related engineering field; water/wastewater treatment design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Coordinate design of orders for ZeeWeed ITR teams and support UF membrane replacement opportunities.
• Lead and delegate to junior engineers and contractors in project execution.
• Provide calculations for sizing, generate specs, and perform bid evaluations for mechanical equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate design reviews, schedule, and problem resolution with stakeholders.
