Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking a Project Engineer to work with the Purification & Disinfection and ZeeWeed ITR teams on custom designs, meeting customer expectations, quality, schedule and budget goals. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, delegate tasks, review drawings and BOMs, and perform sizing calculations for pumps, vessels, piping and treatment systems.

The role requires a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of project engineering experience, UF/MBR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in related engineering with project engineering exposure.
• Process design in water/wastewater systems.
• UF/MBR domain knowledge and related tools/content.
• Ability to read P&IDs and PFDs including material balances.
• Hydraulic design experience and pump sizing calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design of water/wastewater treatment systems within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate ZeeWeed ITR designs and support Sales/Commercial Engineering.
• Lead project support team, delegating tasks to junior engineers and contractors.
• Develop sizing calculations, specs, and bid evaluations for equipment (pumps, vessels, piping, filters).
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Document drawings, BOMs, and technical data accurately.
• Coordinate design reviews and resolve scheduling/technical issues.
