Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns duties to crew members for water works construction, maintenance and operation.
• Installs and maintains water pipelines, services, valves, pumps, meters, tank connections and other water facilities.
• Trains and evaluates crew performance; completes company reports for crew activities.
• Determines staff, equipment and materials needed for each job; enforces safety regulations on site.
• Inspects meters, valves, hydrants and pipes for leaks or defects; performs necessary repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor; maintains essential functions and safety standards.
