Job summary
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Santa Claus, Loogootee, or Evansville, IN. You will lead design, development, and implementation of wastewater collection systems and mentor junior engineers.
The role emphasizes advanced analysis, project coordination, and delivering sustainable solutions while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience.
- Knowledge of wastewater design software and related technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in engineering software (Revit/AutoCAD/MicroStation) and MS Office.
- Strong QA/QC, leadership, and collaborative teamwork abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; active participation in professional societies preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced judgement and analysis for complex wastewater design projects.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases with other disciplines.
- Monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical reviews.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and contract documents.
