Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Engineer II to join our Water Team in Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Evansville, IN. The role supports design and delivery of water/wastewater projects, collaborating with mentors to gain hands-on project experience.

You will develop preliminary designs, perform analyses, and contribute to reports and specifications while growing your professional skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience is required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and engineering software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with data management and spreadsheet experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of preliminary design concepts and cost analyses for water/wastewater systems.
• Assist in creating computation methods, technical reports and specifications under guidance.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in analytical results following established procedures.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state and local regulations and client standards.
• Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment and rehabilitation.
