Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience.
• Knowledge of wastewater design software and related technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in engineering software (Revit/AutoCAD/MicroStation) and MS Office.
• Strong QA/QC, leadership, and collaborative teamwork abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; active participation in professional societies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis for complex wastewater design projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases with other disciplines.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective solutions.

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Santa Claus, Loogootee, or Evansville, IN and lead the way in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for wastewater collection systems. What You'll Do

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for wastewater collection systems such as sewer and pump stations
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
• Knowledge of various technologies such as oxidation ditches, activated sludge, extended aeration, waste stabilization lagoons, and SBR
• Knowledge of wastewater design software
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range

$105,000 - $120,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
