Job summary

Apex Companies CWE, An Apex Company, are seeking a Design Engineer III- Water Resources to join our growing team in Denver. You will apply civil engineering principles to water resources, site improvements, and infrastructure projects, leading design efforts and coordinating with clients and staff.

The role offers opportunities to design, analyze, and document PS&E packages using AutoCAD Civil3D, manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and contribute to delivering sustainable,

Qualifications

• Experience applying civil engineering principles to site improvements and water resources.
• Ability to prepare PS&E packages, estimates, and supporting technical reports.
• Strong communication and leadership for coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management on project planning and execution.
• Manage workload of engineering staff and meet deadlines.
• Meet with clients to discuss work progress and performance.
• Prepare project concepts through final design plans and estimates.
• Prepare engineering reports on civil site improvements and utilities.
• Create drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D with alignments and earthwork.
• Collaborate on project teams under CWE Project Managers.
• Deliver assignments on time and within budget.
