Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license in Washington or comity equivalent.
• Five (5) years of experience in environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and construction of wastewater and reclaimed water systems.
• Provide regulatory oversight of operations at wastewater treatment and reuse facilities.
• Manage Ecology's grant and loan programs for clean water infrastructure.
• Mentor staff engineers and oversee permit development, issuance and implementation.
• Draft permit conditions and ensure ongoing permit compliance.
• Conduct facility inspections and provide regulatory guidance to communities and industries.
• Collaborate with facility owners/operators to ensure compliance with wastewater management standards.
