Job summary
ServiceMaster is seeking a Water/Fire Restoration Crew Chief to lead crews through restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and client satisfaction. You will guide a hands-on team, coordinate with project managers, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate has proven restoration experience, strong tool knowledge, and a track record of effective team leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven restoration experience focused on water and fire damage.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and tools used in restoration.
- Prior experience leading or supervising a crew is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate restoration equipment confidently.
Responsibilities
- Lead restoration crews on water and fire damage projects, ensuring safety and quality.
- Perform cleaning, mitigation, and restoration tasks with hand/power tools.
- Assess sites to plan restoration actions including water extraction and drying.
- Operate carpet cleaners, air movers, and dehumidifiers.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet timelines and standards.
- Document progress and communicate with clients and team members.
