University of Arizona is seeking an Outreach Coordinator, Lead for Arizona Project WET (APW). You will design, implement, and evaluate water-education programs across Arizona, engaging students, educators, communities, and professionals.

You will lead collaborations with schools, agencies, and industry partners to advance water literacy and stewardship statewide. The role emphasizes independent strategic planning, grant project support, and delivering evidence-based, practical learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combo of education/experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive per University Fleet Safety Policy.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead comprehensive extension programs across Arizona regions.
• Set program goals, strategies, and evaluation plans with faculty and stakeholders.
• Oversee coordination of multiple projects within the broader program portfolio.
• Lead outreach strategies and translate research findings into practical tools for communities.
• Develop instructional materials and curricula for diverse audiences and formats.
