Job summary

ServiceMaster TEAM in the DFW area is hiring a Lead Water Damage Restoration Technician to perform moisture mapping, drying setup, and controlled demolition. You will work hands-on and guide technicians when the PM is away, collaborating with project managers to see jobs through from first call.

Ideal candidates have IICRC WRT certification, 1–3 years in restoration, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• IICRC WRT certification required or in progress.
• 1–3 years in restoration, mitigation, or disaster recovery.
• Comfort and confidence talking with insurance adjusters (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform water mitigation work: moisture inspections, moisture mapping, psychrometric readings, and controlled demolition.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment.
• Decide on drying, containment, and deodorization strategies with Project Management.
• Oversee the technicians on your jobs: guide their work and assist in holding them accountable.
• Occasionally communicate with adjusters to explain scope and moisture data and support supplements.
