Storm4 is recruiting a Lead Reliability Engineer specializing in Water Chemistry to own the water chemistry strategy for a multi-gigawatt hyperscale portfolio. You will lead root cause investigations and set fleet-wide standards for water treatment and cooling system reliability across large-scale data center developments.

The role demands deep expertise in closed-loop water treatment, metallurgy, and reliability engineering, with emphasis on hydro/AI cooling environments and enterprise

Qualifications

• Strong experience with closed-loop water treatment and hydronic cooling systems.
• Background in water chemistry, corrosion control, metallurgy, or reliability engineering.
• Experience within data centers, hyperscale, semiconductor, nuclear, or other critical environments.
• Ability to perform technical root cause analysis and provide enterprise-level guidance.
• Coolant chemistry expertise.
• High-density AI environments.

Responsibilities

• Own water chemistry strategy across a multi-gigawatt hyperscale portfolio
• Lead root cause investigations involving corrosion, scale, contamination, and cooling system failures
• Establish fleet-wide standards for water treatment and cooling system reliability
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams on new campus developments
• Drive vendor governance and water treatment program performance
• Support the deployment of advanced liquid cooling technologies for AI workloads
