Job summary

GFT is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer - Wastewater to join our Construction Services team on a full-time, onsite basis.

The role leads wastewater projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across construction, testing, and coordination with contractors and owners. A strong background in sewer systems and treatment facilities is required, with OSHA certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Qualifications

• 10+ years construction experience with wastewater facilities
• Strong written and verbal communication with all project stakeholders
• Experience reading plans and specs; capable on-site navigation
• OSHA 10/30 certification or ability to obtain within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality Assurance and technical guidance
• Review/Approve monthly pay estimates with Contractors
• Prepare/Review correspondence with Contractors and owner
• Schedule and oversee testing agencies
• Oversee maintenance of project records
• Coordinate start-up activities and field inspections
• Prepare progress reports and Substantial/Final Completion docs
