Job summary

The City of Amarillo is seeking a Process Control Shift Foreman to lead wastewater treatment operations at the Hollywood WWTP. You will supervise crews, monitor plant processes, and ensure TCEQ TPDES compliance while optimizing Biological Nutrient Removal, Digestion, and Disinfection systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in SCADA, reporting, and asset management, plus experience training operators and preparing quarterly and annual regulatory reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with wastewater experience.
• TCEQ Class B Wastewater License required; CEUs must be maintained.
• Experience with asset management and SCADA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance.
• Oversee SCADA operations, sampling, and reporting requirements.
• Train operators and maintain process control data and records.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare required reports.
• Supervise crews and manage tasks using asset management tools.
