Job summary

The City of Lancaster is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator Supervisor to manage daily operations, oversee technician staff, and ensure compliance with state regulations. You will interpret plant data, coordinate with engineering and city teams, and maintain safety and records.

This on-site role requires strong leadership and problem-solving in a dynamic municipal setting. Applicants should hold an Associate degree and a Class A wastewater operator certificate, with at least five years

Qualifications

• Associate degree in sanitary engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Valid PA driver's license and active Class A wastewater operator certificate or reciprocal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wastewater operator technicians and sludge dewatering technicians.
• Monitor plant performance and adjust operations based on data.
• Ensure compliance with PA regulations and NPDES permit.
