Job summary

Creative Technology Group is seeking a Lead Shop Technician to oversee QC of CT-owned equipment and prep gear for outbound shows. The role includes managing maintenance, coordinating prep, and ensuring efficient, organized warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include training teams, maintaining records, packaging gear for transport, and coordinating with operations to handle substitutions or shortages. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to run a department within the warehouse.
• Solid knowledge of R2.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Certified to drive sit down and standup forklift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day quality control of warehouse gear and outbound show equipment.
• Train and mentor warehouse teams in workflows, QC, system prep and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and support other shop activity.
• Package, label and prepare items for transportation and shows.
• Document maintenance and QC in the inventory system; report damaged equipment.
• Coordinate substitutions or shortages with operations; load/unload trucks.
