Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Etna, Ohio is hiring a Full-time VAS Warehouse Team Lead. Lead daily warehouse operations with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts.

Role requires forklift experience, RF scanner proficiency, and strong leadership. Benefits begin after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and employee discounts in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience as Team Lead preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Valid forklift operator’s license certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for warehouse efficiency.
• Perform warehouse duties: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and assign daily work to ensure smooth shifts.
• Inspire team to improve KPI performance using effective leadership.
• Ensure health and safety practices and proper paperwork handling.
• Submit daily reports and suggest actions to enhance service levels.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18/hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
