Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Manager, Business Systems to lead the Warehousing technology portfolio, owning SAP WM/EWM, inventory management, RF/mobile solutions, and related integrations. You will partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to translate business needs into scalable technology capabilities that improve inventory accuracy and product flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Master's with 7 years, or PhD with 3 years in information systems, engineering, computer science, supply chain, or related discipline.
• Experience leading business systems and technology capabilities in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing logistics, or supply chain execution.
• Working knowledge of IT warehouse processes including receiving, put-away, replenishment, internal movements, picking, packing, shipping, inventory, returns, and exception management.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-site technology programs, solution lifecycle management, budgets, risks, and benefits.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or people-leadership experience with coaching and performance management.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes and executive communications.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills in a global, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the multi-year warehousing technology roadmap aligned with Supply Chain and enterprise strategies.
• Translate operational needs into process, data, integration, and system requirements across sites and 3PL operations.
• Govern the lifecycle of SAP WM, SAP EWM, inventory management, RF/mobile solutions, and related reporting/analytics.
• Lead cross-functional programs through discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and benefits realization.
• Oversee incidents, changes, releases, capacity, continuity, and vendor management for warehousing solutions.
• Promote accurate warehouse master data and end-to-end inventory visibility with integrations to SAP S/4HANA, MES, and 3PL platforms.
• Develop investment cases, budgets, forecasts, and monitor value realization; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coach and develop the team; manage internal/external talent and foster an inclusive, accountable culture.
