Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Engineer Technology II to lead SAP SCM initiatives across LE, IM, and WM/EWM. You will conceive, design, and implement data and technology solutions that deliver measurable business value, partnering with stakeholders to define roadmaps and scalable architectures.

You will act as a trusted advisor, evaluating emerging technologies, integrating AI-enabled capabilities, and driving productivity across Supply Chain and related functions. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience; Master's with 6 years; or PhD with 2 years.
• Thorough understanding of SAP Supply Chain Management (LE, IM, WM/EWM).
• Experience as trusted advisor to stakeholders and influencing technology decisions across functions.
• Expertise in SAP LE, IM, WM/EWM and integration technologies (APIs, EDI, IDOCs).
• Ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and digital technologies to drive productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement SAP SCM solutions (LE, IM, WM/EWM) and related technologies.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, valuable technology solutions.
• Lead architecture decisions and develop testing strategies and scenarios.
• Drive large initiatives with minimal supervision, balancing priorities and risk.
• Build relationships with business and technology leaders to align priorities.
• Identify and leverage AI and automation to improve processes and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards, data security, and governance.
