Job summary

UPS in California is seeking a supervisor for Package Handlers and Clerks to lead safety, productivity, and job-related tasks. You will train staff, manage attendance, and ensure timely completion of duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and MS Office skills, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and management experience a plus. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Lathrop, CA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supervises Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity and tasks.
• Holds teams accountable for attendance and submits timecards.
• Develops good working relationships with employees, management and customers; facilitates training.
• Coordinates evaluations with management and ensures safety and timely completion of duties.
