Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and oversee Package Handlers and Clerks, ensuring safety and productivity across daily operations. The role holds teams accountable for attendance and timely timecard submission, while maintaining strong relationships with staff and customers.

The position requires the ability to lift heavy weights, operate with flexible hours, and demonstrate strong problem solving and communication skills within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
• Experience in a warehouse/operations setting preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills required.
• Ability to train and supervise staff and maintain safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
