Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings seeks a Lead Hand to support the Warehouse Superintendent and execute standard warehouse operations, including order pulling, replenishment, staging, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.

The role requires 3+ years in warehousing or manufacturing, experience with ERP systems, and forklift certification. Candidates should be proficient in English and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong leadership and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehousing or manufacturing experience in a high-volume environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; ERP exposure preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems requiring handheld picking.
• Experience driving PIV equipment (LPG sit-downs, reach lifts, pallet riders).
• Proficient in English; basic math skills.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• Demonstrated safety, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders; review end-of-day work for completeness.
• Receive and count stock items; record data in the system.
• Inspect stock for defects as needed; manage Returns (RGA).
• Support inventory control processes and audits; cycle counts.
• Assist with basic ERP troubleshooting using handheld scanners and computers.
• Maintain facilities and equipment with external support as needed.
• Lead warehouse efforts to achieve objectives; ensure safety standards.
