Job summary

UPS is seeking a permanent, full-time supervisor to oversee warehouse teams in California. The role focuses on safety, productivity and attendance, with responsibilities to train staff, maintain high standards, and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), the ability to lift 70 lbs, and flexible shift availability up to 5 days a week, plus strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, develops, and leads workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization and safety.
• Fosters relationships across employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training for new and current employees; ensures compliance with safety policies.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Encourages proactive communication and continual improvement at all levels.
