Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a fast-paced distribution team in our Atlanta-area facility. You will oversee shipping/receiving, maintain accuracy records, and coordinate with Inventory Control for slotting and space management.

You’ll conduct daily safety meetings, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong general knowledge of warehousing operations and supervisory duties.
• Good supervisory skills and ability to work with others to achieve results.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret computerized reports.
• Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and supervises shipping/receiving associates.
• Controls production standards and accuracy of shipments/receiving.
• Maintains daily production and accuracy records.
• Processes store returns and returns to vendors.
• Coordinates with Inventory Control on slotting and space allocation.
• Conducts daily crew meetings on safety, productivity and accuracy.
• Communicates with Transportation on flow of backhauls.
• Signs for inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Ensures safety, security, sanitation, and policy compliance on the floor.
• Optimizes equipment and personnel usage for efficiency.
