Job summary

UNFI is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance and sanitation activities within a distribution center. You will lead a fast-paced team, optimize processes, and ensure safety, accuracy of inventory, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• College or trade school degree desirable in refrigeration and electrical maintenance.
• Thorough knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance associates and ensures preventive maintenance is performed on schedule.
• Creates and monitors planned maintenance tasks using a computerized system.
• Facilitates inspections and verifies proper inventory procedures.
• Orders parts, supplies or tools to complete jobs.
• Oversees sanitation compliance and pest control programs daily.
