Job summary

Scholastic is seeking a full-time Warehouse Lead with Lift Operator experience for the 2nd shift in West Chester, OH. You will supervise a small team, train associates, and ensure efficient warehouse operations on the 3:30 pm–12:00 am schedule with a shift premium for eligible hours.

The role requires stand-up lift experience, basic scanner proficiency, and strong teamwork. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and employee discounts on Scholastic merchandise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Stand-Up lift experience (Hi-Lo, Cherry Picker, etc).
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to lead and direct other employees; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new-hire orientation and train associates on functions.
• Direct a small team in production areas and coordinate daily start-up meetings.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team; train on new processes.
• Lead labor data collection and assist in wave production planning.
• Drive continuous process improvement and handle basic supervisory tasks in absence of manager.
