Job summary

Scholastic seeks a Warehouse Cherry Picker / Stand Up Forklift Operator for our West Chester, OH facility. The role runs on the pm shift, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday, handling material movement and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities include operating powered equipment, maintaining safety standards, performing cycle counts, and supporting loading/unloading and packing duties as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and PTO offerings; training and career growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment.
• Minimum 1 year power equipment operation experience.
• Forklift training program completion required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Read and understand safety rules in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate battery-operated and/or gas-powered equipment to move product within the facility.
• Follow OSHA and safety rules; wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure accurate inventory handling and cycle-counts.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist in loading/unloading and seasonal inventory tasks as needed.
• Support in picking/packing duties and order fulfillment.
