Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sherman, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead to direct the warehouse team, ensure SOP and safety compliance, and coordinate shipping and receiving.

You will train new staff, monitor the environment for safety, and work with plant leadership to optimize performance while meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, 53-foot trailer handling skills, and strong communication; this is a local, full-time role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience backing, maneuvering, and positioning 53-foot trailers.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Warehouse team and provide direction and support.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMP, CPS policies.
• Coordinate shipment preparation and document weight, charges, and space.
• Train or assign safety, maintenance and quality training to new employees.
• Monitor environment for safety and security and take corrective action.
• Communicate specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies.
• Oversee tools, supplies, and equipment for the team.
• Record shipment data and determine shipment method.
