Job summary

Handsome Brook Farms is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, schedule deliveries, and support a hands-on team in a food‑grade facility. You will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain GMP/GWP/HACCP compliance, and work closely with transportation and warehouse staff to move products safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have five years of warehouse and shipping/receiving experience in a food environment, with WMS/RF Smart proficiency and forklift certification

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of warehouse experience in food processing, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Five years shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Experience with food-grade warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience with WMS, RF Smart, and inventory control processes preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, GWPs, HACCP, SQF, FDA regulations, and food safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and scheduling of deliveries and pickups.
• Lead, train, and support warehouse associates to meet productivity and safety goals.
• Oversee picking, packing, staging, shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy.
• Manage daily inbound/outbound operations for timely processing of shipments.
• Coordinate truck schedules, carrier appointments, and delivery windows.
• Ensure accurate loading/unloading and safe handling of products.
• Conduct physical/inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving/inventory documentation and GMP compliance.
• Collaborate with transportation, customer service, quality, production, and maintenance teams.
• Identify opportunities for safety, quality, productivity, and inventory improvements.
