Job summary

Handsome Brook Farms is seeking a Warehouse Worker to manage day-to-day shipping/receiving, material handling, and loading/unloading trucks. You will move materials through production areas, maintain a safe workspace, and comply with PPE, GMP, and HACCP requirements.

The role supports FIFO staging, inventory balance checks, and ERP data entry, with a focus on accuracy and safety in a food-processing environment. Bilingual is a plus and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• English language fluency required.
• Preferred 3 years as a forklift/material handler in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow PPE/safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Observe safety requirements, including PPE and GMPs.
• Maintain forklifts, hand-trucks, pallet-jacks; inspect batteries, water levels, lights, tires and safety features.
• Verify deliveries and discrepancies by counting and matching to delivery reports.
• Enter receipts and movements in ERP system and update location data.
• Organize and rotate material; ensure FIFO in staging areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and balance through cycle counts.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; stack and move pallets as needed.
• Report unsafe conditions and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
