Job summary

JPW Industries is seeking an Operator 3, Warehouse, to play a central role in our fast-paced warehouse operations. You will help move inbound and outbound materials, optimize space, and support large-scale shipping involving heavy machinery.

Reports to Warehouse Operations Manager and potential leadership in absence of Warehouse Lead. Ideal candidates have forklift and crane experience, knowledge of SAP, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Understand logistics management and movement of goods.
• Experience with Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Outbound Picking/Packing.
• Certified to operate material handling equipment and overhead cranes.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LTL-Trucks, Flatbeds, Receiving, Returns, freight cell area & projects.
• Ensure optimal space utilization through warehouse consolidation and rotate stock as needed.
• Provide efficient product storage and ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Assist in performing cycle counts to assure inventory accuracy.
• Lead in the absence of Warehouse Lead and assist supervisors as needed.
• Conduct daily audits of warehouse processes and procedures.
• Move machinery using material handling equipment safely; operate overhead cranes.
• Prepare and secure large machines for transport on flatbeds in compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations.
